Great, Joe. It's good to hear another horror writer is well and truly coming into fruition. You are indeed in esteemed company for this interview. I look forward to reading it and your upcoming collection.

Congrats to you as well, sio.  ;)

I would like to say to those who have considered giving up their writing careers...DON'T. I started mine in January 2010 and have submitted countless articles to sites such as Helium, HubPages and more, as well as self-published two books. In June I finally started seeing some real results of all of my hard work - and have been approached by site and forum owners after they have read my work on the above mentioned sites. For over two years I worked for literally pennies a day; it is all coming together now and I am making more for one short article than I did most months.

It may take some time to get where you want to be, but don't give up. There were times when I wondered why I even bothered, but kept writing anyhow. It is the perseverance that has brought me to where I am now; I encourage you to do the same.

Good for you dziomek for hanging in there - as I suspect you know, not everyone does. We all need to remember . . . Baby Steps may be slow, but they move us forward.  ;)

See? This Coffee Shop proves it! There is success--and money--in writing. And to think I've believed the naysayers all these years. Well, folks, if you can do it, I can too. Watch for my successes right here in the Coffee Shop. I'll bring the sugar-free, French Vanilla Creamer if you all would like some. Keep the coffee pot on.

To OUR successes,
Jewell

 ;D ;D

I've just heard I've got 2nd prize in a sports writing comp- although it's fiction! This was the first story I wrote a good few years ago and I've always loved it - like a first baby! I've updated it several times and now it's done me proud!

Chrissie.  Just checked it out.  A damned good little yarn ;-)
