I dare say they would appreciate an ending before they get to that point in filming.  ;)

Better get busy.

;)  Don't worry, Alice. You taught me well. The stories always come first.  ;)

Congratulations, Joe. No one deserves it more.

Maybe you could convince the director to make you a character who is not in the story. Just a guy holding a sign with one of those pointing finger icons that says, "Danger this way."  :D

Okay, I'll stop. Well done. :)

Thanks, Don. That's what I had in mind. But I'd rather not. I'll give someone else the opportunity. I'm happy being the writer.

Hey, I just found out one of my shorts made the cut for the QW Publishing's upcoming anthology of "weird Southern stories".  This will be my first time in a real - life, actual, hold it in your hands,  printed book.  They must have heard that I'm a weird southerner ;D

Relish the moment.  Both now in anticipation and again when you do hold the book in your hand.  There'll be other times, I'm sure, all special in their own way, but 'firsts' are special special.

Well done, Weird One ;-)

My website is currently having a holiday, but will return like the $6,000,000 man.  Bigger, stronger, etc.

In the meantime, why not take pity on a starving author and visit my book sales page at http://stores.lulu.com/gyppo1

Congrats, Laura!

Why is the South so good for weirdness? Nobody wants a collection of Northern Gothic or Northern Weird stories, do they? Or have I just stumbled on a new market...

Anyway, live it up. You deserve it.  :)

Congrats!  It's so great to be among talented folks.

I just got a positive response from a small publisher on a full submission. Here's what she wrote.
It had been my intention to read a small portion yesterday and ended up reading it start to finish because I couldn't put it down.

Even if nothing comes out of it, I feel good.  ;D ;D
