SJ,

You should have sent the proper one as well.  It shows versatility.

In the meantime, why not take pity on a starving author and visit my book sales page at http://stores.lulu.com/gyppo1

There's a great story there!  ;D ;D ;D

Maybe you traded your 15 minutes for lasting notoriety.

I shall count today as a success if the loaf in the oven comes out alright.

Not to be confused with 'buns in the oven'.  I don't believe I have any of them pending ;-)

Here's the link to my newest horror story publication: http://www.short-story.me/flash-fiction/393-the-great-wall-of-rubin.html

It's a freaky one. No idea why they put it under flash fiction, though. They have more traffic with their normal horror short stories.

I am pleased to announce the launching of a new daily joke panel.

The panel will accompany, In the Dark, a daily comic I launched on December 27, 2011.

While In the Dark is a metaphor of an inability to see visual cues from others in my autistic world, the new panel is on a much lighter note. The new panel, Penny-a-Joke, is all about jokes told in dialogue format -- without narration.

Ironically, Penny-a-Joke is presented with no illustration and without specified context, as though the joke existed without an environment.

I'm hoping it works (I've attached a file containing the first panel)

Meanwhile, In the Dark can be found here:

The agent I've been waiting on has got back to me and said they'd like to offer representation for my novel, LORNA. She said she'll phone me tomorrow morning for a chat and then send a representation agreement. I think I might actually have a literary agent this time tomorrow... here's hoping!

Wonderful news, Matt.

Don't let fretting over tomorrow's call overshadow the accomplishment and reason to celebrate today.
