I've been appointed as a submissions manager/editor for the South African Literary Magazine, at least until they catch up on the backlog.
Luckily I'm not the only one helping out.  :)

Well done Joe. All the best with it.

With the help of good old Gyppo I've managed to write an essay/semi-fictional piece on Bloemfontein South Africa.
If anyone is interested in reading some of it's history or looking at some of the nice old photos (including the British
troops marching into the city), then click away. Hope it's informative or at least interesting.  :)

Joe did all the real work.  I just did a little nip and tuck on a few - very few - rough corners.

Good to see it reached the website, Joe.  A nice selection of pictures too.

My website is currently having a holiday, but will return like the $6,000,000 man.  Bigger, stronger, etc.

In the meantime, why not take pity on a starving author and visit my book sales page at http://stores.lulu.com/gyppo1

Gyppo. You are such a handy-man. Literally and figuratively, I might add. ;) :-*

The guys at B-Wasp, the website focussing on local literature and writers here in my hometown, asked me to donate another story, seeing how
the article I wrote about the history of the city has been so successful. So my story 'A Simple Certainty' has been republished in case
someone hasn't read it yet: http://www.bwasp.co.za/shorts/simplecertainty.html

I also wrote another blog about my trip through a haunted observatory turned theatre:
