Well done, KK.

If you haven't cashed it already take the time to photocopy that cheque and then stick the copy in a safe place, or pin it to the wall above your processor.  That way you will always be able to look up and see a reminder of what you can do.  When the time comes that you get a bigger cheque, take down the small one and replace it.

Good psychology if you ever start feeling down about your writing.

Excellent idea! I keep my $2.62 Copy of my first proceeds that cost me $200.00 to get all the right paperwork filed for the IRS handy as well.

Thanks all,

It is very exciting. Gyppo, I love your idea. I was thinking along those same lines. I have
a dream board on the wall in front of my computer. I'll put a copy of the check on that
for the good vibes. The power of positive thinking is oh so powerful!

Whoohoo!

Different, well for me.

Somebody sent me four of my books with a pre-paid return envelope in the mail. A dedication request for each. At first I thought it a relative, but no. Never heard of them.

Means, not counting the one I bought, I have sold 4 anyway.  ;D

Great! Of course you are trying hard to follow it up, correct?

Well I haven't actually because I've been going through a divorce this past year and didn't really feel like it, but now I'm getting back into the swing of things lol. I just submitted a poem for critique in the Poetry section that is an assignment for my creative writing class if you'd like to take a look, titled "Only Time Will Tell."

Thanks!

Congratulations for being able to put getting divorced up on a 'Your Successes' board.  ;D  But seriously, hope you get back in the swing of things
real fast. Best of luck.  :)
