I have been blogging for several years,
and I see a lot of bloggers, that don't respond to
Commenters, or only respond a little.., 


To be honest at first I also didn't always give really compelling
answers as well, other than a rather general:

"Thanks for your Comment",


To make it a little more compelling it can help to make
your answer - conversational -, that also has the advantage
that you can use the comments/replies as a - stepping stone - to
share some more interesting info, and to possibly also
attract other readers to join in as well.
