The Cruelty of Justice

As motives bend the truth, Justice lies in wait.
As futility dictates a plan, Justice bleeds it dry.
It matters not to be fancied as righteous, Peace in truth will not be found.
So, leave sanity to the insane.

Wow, hard-hitting. Can relate this to so much going on in the world atm. Would love to maybe see an extended version of this as well.

Hi! Extensions really stretch me...
The children's poem was a sad story, tied with a bow.
This one is raw with no bow.
It would be interesting to see if I can extend it.
