Alone
I entered this world alone
It was my joy and tears
It was my heartbreak alone
that changed the direction
of my life...
I will leave this world
alone taking nothing worldly
with me...
I alone, because of my free will,
have control of my destiny.
Wise is one who can
recognize loneliness from
being alone.
Gather close to your heart
loved ones, knowing they
too, make the journey
that will, with time, take
them home.
Accept unchangeable things
- strive always
to overcome the worldly
that seeks to destroy your
soul...
If I must walk alone
let it be with faith
as my shield of hope,
my comforter and my
peace.
