I used to be able to draw/copy images and redraw them on a separate piece of paper. That died out when I realized how tedious it can be with my need for perfectionism. Outside of writing, I suppose the main creativity releases I have would be making an entire living, breathing world for Dungeons and Dragons for my party  ;D . That, and making fantasy maps for it/the series/really anything people might wanna commission me for. Least, I tried making fantasy maps for commission, but it never really gained traction even though several people told me I had professional level quality, haha.

Playing the guitar also counts ... whenever I actually get the creativity to do it. I recently had the drive to make a couple metal songs after basically a 4 year hiatus, which was crazy when I realized the time lost.

I guess trying to turn the series into an audiobook is also another type of creativity? I've been told I should do voice acting since I've always been good at voices, but still. It's tedious doing it all by yourself.

Honestly though, writing is about the only thing I feel I'm truly good at since it's the only hobby I've been able to maintain a certain level of "consistency" of throughout the years.

Thanks for your reply Baphomet,

For what drawing is concerned, some time ago I started with breathing new life into
old sketches I made myself, as you can read about in:

https://digitalcamera-ideas.blogspot.com/2016/10/using-high-tech-to-breath-new-life-into.html

Basically using the computer to improve Cartoon Drawings I created years ago,
and giving those Cartoons of mine Color with the help of computer software.

I now also frequently draw new Cartoons in a somewhat similar style as
a drew years ago (to get an idea you can see my special Cartoon Blog: https://eds-cartoons-and-art.blogspot.com/)

In your reply you talk about - Fantasy Maps - for people that aren't particularly familiar with this
can you elaborate a little on that......?

Playing guitar indeed also counts, I also frequently play guitar myself and
write about that on my Music Blog,  as you can see I also have plenty of other creativity going on,
did you know that one of my Cartoon Characters is an Octopus !  ;D

I write, but I also do photography. I cannot draw to save my life...except I draw a mean stick figure haha. itís so funny because some of my friends are artists and they canít write well, and some of my freinds are writers and canít draw well. then some of my friends do neither well. I have never met someone that can both write and draw, so props to you if you can do both.

Thanks for your reply Sirena_321

Do you have something like a blog or a website where I can see some of your Writing and/or Photography...?

(In the Left Side Bar on my Writing Blog, (you get to when you click the Signature-link below this reply),
You can discover links to some of my other blogs, like my Blogs about,
(Cartoon) Drawing, and Photography)

I did win contests in all 3 disciplines, Writing, (Cartoon) Drawing and Photography
so I probably need to have a look at the ratio of how many contests I submitted for each ;)

- Really -

Nobody creative in any other ways....?

Old topic and all, but... it depends. I have no interest in nor proficiency regarding music. And I've never been particularly good at drawing. While I'd love to have work in multiple mediums, my contribution to those projects would be either writing or ideas.

Honestly, while it's fun to play at multiple things, I kinda suspect that if you want to succeed at anything, you should probably focus on doing one thing because there's only so much time in the day, particularly as you get older. Time that I'd spend drawing takes away from time I could be writing, planning to write, or revising.

I will say that the one creative endeavor I've repeatedly toyed with over the years is game design, though. (Specially CCGs)

Thank you so much for your reply Sirena_321 !

It's great to see that you have something like a blog, or this wattpad.....,
as I also recently wrote about on my Writing Blog;

https://hpshappywriting2.blogspot.com/2021/07/do-you-have-blog-with-commenters.html

Anyway,

To play at multiple things indeed does take away time as Neither
writes in his/her Reply...,

So this probably isn't the most quick reply,
However I did have a quick look at your writing and it looks interesting
When I have the time for it I will take a deeper look into it,
and hopefully soon I will write a little more comprehensive reply.

Also Neither thanks for your Reply,

You are right about the time aspect, it makes it more difficult to focus on one thing,
on the other hand it also can be practical to also do some other things,

Because it's my experience that sometimes when you get a little stuck in one
area of expertise, and you do something else for a while doing that can
help you to get new insights that you can use when you want to continue.

It can also help to Amplify one area with the other.
For example when I write Twitter Tweets, I also use them
as Content on my Blog etc. etc.

Yes, I paint. Tole paint on wood with acrylics and I paint watercolor on 300lb paper.  I also do arts and crafts and love restoring old wooden pieces. I'm also active in community theater.

Post or PM the links of your blogs to me, please. I can't get your links to work.

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply DGSquared,

(I was actually writing a reply about the
time consuming ness of doing multiple things
that I will show you after this reply)

First I will write you this reply;

Nice to see that you also have several (other) types of Creativity going on!

I just had a look on Wikipedea to get an idea about what Tole painting is,
because I wasn't really specifically familiar with it that much,

Thinking about it some more makes me realise that I have seen
the results of such paintings,

I can imagine that for community theatre writing also can be handy
to write dialogues etc. etc..  ?

O.K. as promised I would also show you here the reply
I had 'coocked up' earlier;

To elaborate a little on the time aspect,

Since I have Multiple Blogs for example about

Movies, Music, Digital Photography, Cartoon & Art
and obviously also about Writing,

Writing on all of them indeed seems to be somewhat time consuming,
and it made me wonder if I couldn't better focus on just
one of them.

Only it's my experience now that it also can help to offer you
many more engaging and interesting posts to read, by also doing a little

Blending and also offering you other things to read
on my other Blogs.

For example Movies & Music and Photography often have interesting
possible connecting sub-topics, for exampel a possibilityl to write about an
Original Movie Soundtracks, and for example writing about, Fashion -
and Stage Photography etc. etc.
