the way of things

A leaf falls upon the wind.

A pool reflects a shimmering form.

A child acts upon a whim.

A housefly strikes a windowpane.

A old man abuses a keyboard.

A mind refuses to comply.

Such are the ways of things.

Receive them with equanimity.

A to An** old man...

change things to a different word, be more specific!

Marie Meyers:
"A" should be "An" on line 5.
Instead of "Such are the way of things
Receive them with equanimity"

Maybe a rephrase:

"--reciving them all with equanimity,
such are the ways of things."

I like the flow of your poem, thank you for sharing
