Writing for Fun or Writing for Gain?

An other angle that I have on this.....,

Writing to get Inspiration and to gain new Insights
the type of writing that I am talking about is - Journaling -
also frequently writing new blog posts on my blog
is somewhat the same as Journaling,

Especially when - YOU - write your Comments & Replies
on Blog posts, it can be both FUN & Inspirational, and
helpful to get new ideas and gain new insights!

We recently did write a Twitte Poll Question

Asking you about your Favorite Activities during this Corona-time,
To my surprise many of you did Participate and it did
help to gain some more insight.

Thanks for bringing this up, because on my Writing blog I orignially
wrote as a Tag-line:


"Making Writing FUN and Fruitful
for Bloggers & Webshop Owners".

And I do enjoy for example Journal Writing because for me it's a free form writing,
that's experimental and Fun, and it helps me to get new ideas to write about.

It's about the fact that...,

Some time ago I talked with a writer that released a poetry book,
and she asked me if I would know way's to promote it without to much costs

At that time ...,

(we call them DIY-Cards, that you can also send as
Free E-Cards or Share on Social Media.)


So, I came with the idea that she could customize those cards into her own
"Promo Cards" with for example little sample-texts from
her poetry book.

This is just a pretty amazing opportunity to help a somewhat
commercially clue-less artist to get an audience for
her work!

In previous replies I wrote about writing from an angle of Practical Gain.

Come to think of it....,

Besides having published some things in many small scale Publications,
not so long ago I also wrote on my blog about a (Funny) Readers Letter,
that actually got Published in a big scale Glossy Magazine Publication!

That was a Funny Story about a Funny Vacation Experience that I wrote about.

So possibly making it - Fun - can help success !

For what other Funny writing is concerned, we also have Funny texts on
some of our designs also on some of our Evergreen Designs, like the Funny Talking Parrot Designs that do well on things like Shirts etc. and also for example our Spider Coffee Mug with Funny text also has multiple sales.
