Sticky: Poetry Challenge #147

Well technically my piece, "Just Die" did not win the last challenge. However, apparently the winner stepped out for a while. I didn't vote for myself damn it! If I had...
ANYWAY, I will be hosting the next challenge. If the last one was about hate, then let's make this one about love, any kind of love such as eros, platonic, familial, altruistic, and etc and etc.
The guidelines are:
Avoid being gag worthy
Avoid horrendous cliches
Somehow make an overused subject fresh and new
Deadline: Approximately 2 weeks, March 10 by midnight because everybody loves to maniacally write on a Friday night.

Can someone please sticky a challenge to make our hearts feel cuddly, a proverbial bandaid for our previous hateful states?

So, don't write about puppies or gush about your lover?

But you can write seriously about puppy love, if you can.

Haha
...well you can write about a lover or puppies in a fresh way, but absolutely no gushing or embarrassing lovey rhyming.

So nice to see someone really working the competition up with humor and fun. Keeping it in people's minds is the key. You never know when the muse will op by.

Aw . . . Puppy love.
Reminds me of my Donnie Osmond crush days. Now that's sickening. Ha!
Is there a submission limit? I'm suddenly filled with really bad poetry.

There is absolutely no limit to puppy poems (or other loves)!
Bring them all on. The more entries the better!
