https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bxJB-OHKek&list=WL&index=57Tom10 has told me one reason he enjoys (and does well in these challenges)
is that it allows him to try his hand at something new.
Me being new - hands off Tom - I thought I could present a different writing prompt
but with a universal theme.
Coming up on 7/7 in Japan (my posting) is a very popular festival, the Tanabata Matsuri.
It is based on an old Chinese folktale of star crossed lovers that get to meet but once
a year on 7/7. The stars Altair (character Hikoboshi) and Vega (Orihime) are separated
by the astral river the Milky Way.
It is a children’s story spun into a festival with the fanciful mix of romance and patience, hopes and dreams tied to bamboo branches like summer Christmas trees, lights, music and of course food and the illicit wanderings of children hand-in-hand with families roaming way past bedtime streets closed to traffic, cooled by evening lit up by floats, cacophony and smiles.
So something new. A far better introduction if you will is with this 9:34 YouTube posting

or if not, go with the universal theme of
Star Crossed LoversOpen to any form, length, and style with the one edict of including
Altair &
VegaHope you like the novelty and good luck!
