I use MS Word with some nice chill-trance music in the background. I use Balabolka to read it back to me when finished.
My blog is  https://betterdevil.wordpress.com/  (It's new-ish!)

Also, check out my self-published first novel, The Last Time

Yes, it's just - among other things - a blog,

The great thing about blogs is that it's indeed interesting
because it's - Interactive - so you can see what blog posts
get the most views, and that you can get comments & replies
on blog post.

It gives some insights into what you like to read the most.
and occasionally also what you think when you comment
and/or reply on blog posts.

In new blog posts I also frequently link to previous blogposts
in the Most Popular Posts list, building on those previous
little successes.

I've recently started to use Google voice recognition. I just open up notepad application on my Android phone and dictate. It's amazing how well it works. Much better than voice recognition used to. I'd love to be able to use it on the go, but I'm too self-conscious about dictating in public. :D

Thanks heartsongjt, yes we aim to make our sites interesting, by for example besides providing interesting blog posts, also providing services like on our Travel Blog a 'Universal Packing List' on our Digital Camera-ideas blog a practical calculator for converting to pixels and to find the right html-color codes etc. and also info about sending our Cards as E-Cards, offering Inspiring Tweets on our Twitter page etc. etc.

For what tools for writing is concerned; also my Blogs, my own writing on them, and the readers feedback on them themselves are tools that I use for writing, tools for for example writing new blogposts.

I'm very boring. I use Microsoft Word and write in silence. I prefer it if there's no one else in the house too.

I'm in this club too.

Besides all the practical tools that I wrote about in previous replies,
Specially (self-)designed noteboos, Pens & Paper, post it notes, Coffee Mugs,
and Blogs with your Comments & Replies on them!

I also use a Journal as a Tool to help with discovering interesting
themes to write about.

In a previous blog post I already wrote about writing with
our own (all-over-print) self-designed pens, .....,

......, It goes without saying that to get extra motivated we also
have a special - with typewriter lettering -

'I am a Bestselling Author' Coffee Mug! :)

For what the using writing tools and using special types of Lettering
for my writing things is concerned,

Recently for creating a really Big Funny 50 Year
Anniversary Birthday Card,

I also used as a tool my own Cartoon drawing skills, combined with the special design software we use for many of our designs, to create our own special
Cartoon Style Lettering.

Literally making it look like it's 'Written in Stone' (or in this particular specific case - as - stone making the Cartoon Style Lettering look like stone material)

Creating a special type of Lettering that - in Cartoon Style - looks like
the Number 50 is made from stones.

That is like a "Foreshadowing" for the Funny text inside!

Thanks,

Because of the Storm in our country I currently
have plenty of time to give you a comprehesive reply :)

We make an effort to make our blogs interesting and hopefully also
attractive, on our Blog about Photography we frequently have
great looking Photo(Collages).

(BTW also on our Twitter, where we also frequently provide
a link to our Photography Blog, and where we have several
interesting Twitter Serials, that make it worthwile to
follow us on Twitter)

and we make an effort to make it easy
to directly find the most interesting blog posts with
an automatically generated Most Popular Posts-list
in the side bar.

I also usually write replies to your comments.

I also use Our Twitter-page, and Twitter Tweets
as a Tool for my Writing,

I frequently use especially the Tweets that get your
Comments, Likes and Re-tweets, as Embeded Tweets, and
as a - starting point - to write New blog posts,

That I already know you will like !

Talking about - Liking -

Besides Blogs, Twitter is also a great self-publishing tool,

The great thing about using one (or more) of our already proven
Popular Tweets, that already got Comments,
Likes or Retweets..., is that

Puting them as an embeded Tweets in (one or more) of our blog post
can help to get even more Comments, Likes or Retweets on
those Tweets.

Helping me to make my blogs more engaging, interesting to read
and to grow on Twitter,

BTW thanks for Following me on Twitter :)

Talking about using Twitter as a Tool for our writing.....,

In an aim - to get more Interactive - with you as a reader, and
to get a little more insight into what you think....,

Recently on our Twitter
we created a special Twitter-Poll,

Asking you following us on Twitter, about your favorite
Activities during this Corona-time.

::) To make the Poll stand out a little,

I used emoticons (like the - eye blinking - one you see here above)
to make the Twitter-poll look a little more attractive and
attention grabbing than many of the other
totally boring looking ones.

Somewhat to my surprise, it must have done the trick !

Because....,

Although we do have a growing following on Twitter, I didn't know
if there would be enough of you responding to actually see a
meaning full result,

To my surprise many of you - did - reply !

Giving me some more insights into
what to write about in future Tweets/Posts.

P.S. you can  :o see the Twitter-poll results on my Twitter page,
you can find a Twitterpage-link in the sidebar of my Writing Blog.
