thanks for reading, dave, and for the generous comments. Writing about simple things is challenging in its own way - feels time to give the woo-woo stuff a rest.Today I thought of writing a poem about a hammer but tonight I'm just too damn tired after swinging the hammer big-time, ha ha. Peace.

'Oh, the Xhosa proverb on the page is: "Chop your own firewood and it will warm you twice."    -- my Norski and Finnish friends say thrice - once chopping/splitting/stacking, second time when you haul it into the house, and third, when it burns. 

Still love the poem, Mark, and I agree with the comments of praise.
