Hi there!
« on: February 04, 2016, 05:18:39 PM »
Hi there, my name is Morgan, I am 17 and from the UK. I enjoy writing more than most things I do. I've always wanted to know what other thought, and people who aren't obliged to say that it's good. Any feedback on anything I do is appreciated, even this! I hope to writ new things and perhaps even finish a story one day.

Welcome to MWC, Morgan. We're glad you've joined us.  :)

Please take a moment to read our etiquette guidelines-
http://mywriterscircle.com/index.php?topic=7415.0

You’ll find more tips in the blue threads with the stick pin icons at the top of each board. These will help you as you learn your way around.

Please post a few critiques for each one you request. It’s considered good manners and keeps things fair.

Consider entering any open flash, short story or poetry contests. They’re fun and anonymous. You’ll find them at the top of the Writing Games and Challenges board.

Should you need any help along the way, just message a moderator.

Have fun,

Laura H

Hi Morgan and welcome to MWC. I see you have received help from Alice and Laura with links to guidelines, etc. about getting the most from time spent here. And you've hit the ground running haven't you? With a sample of your work. Good for you.

Don't forget to read other member's posts and comment as a reader and as a new writer. The experience is well worth the effort and you will learn a great deal.

All comments about your work are made in good faith and are meant to help you grow. Don't be discouraged by critical feedback. None of it is personal. It is meant to show you how to improve your craft. Enjoy.

Welcome to the forum, Morgan!
There is no beginning or end. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift, that's why they call it the present (unknown)
