The end is more like this here
« on: November 21, 2015, 01:37:31 PM »
Never ABBA, ever
not even when the end is near
and soothsayers wail and grin
as they declare it nigh.
The fightin’ Oirish
go out with a final hurrah!

No, the close of play
sounds like Dearg Doom,
partygoers exit in skipped steps
as they chant, clash the high hat
and diddly dee the guitar
like midnight leprechauns
looking for trouble or the faery king.

We like Horslips! ;D You can't help but jump about to it and try and mimic the instruments and sing along -- badly, especially when alcohol-assisted. ::)

And when the performers are finally spent, but the audience still want more, there's always this stirring encore.

My website is currently having a holiday, but will return like the $6,000,000 man.  Bigger, stronger, etc.

In the meantime, why not take pity on a starving author and visit my book sales page at http://stores.lulu.com/gyppo1

Delight in a bottle,
poured on the keyboard
appearing on screen. ;D ;D

Time to pul the macro back out.

And this one. I've scraped most of my own stuff now for myself but what a huge collection of wonderful poetry is going to slide into the abyss. Damn shame, to put it mildly.
