I disappeared into the depth of my wordprocessor  ;D

Was there enough oxygen? Did you have food or had to grow your own (cf The Martian  :P )

Wow! Well done Anders, that's a great catch up. I'm not quite there yet: seven hundred words to go…

I've actually just finished reading the Martian. I enjoyed it, although I did feel slightly like I'd been hit round the head with a physics lesson by the time I'd finished it  ;D

I'd write the 700 tonight, to be on the safe side... Then I'd rest  :D

And I'd recommend writing 1000 words because you could get trolled by the word counter.
Never make a decision standing up.

With all these good recommandations, go write, quick: kids in bed, husband in front of TV, and write these 1000 words!

Spookily, that's pretty much what my house looks like right now. Are you here somewhere?

Congratulations to Anders, who quietly beavered away in the background and made it happen ;-)

It is: 50,082 words. Which was about 50 more than Word made it, so I feel like I definitely did it!
