Flash Fiction Challenge #104 - Unintended Consequences
« on: May 28, 2015, 09:26:06 PM »
Hello!  I hope you all enjoy this prompt.

The theme of this challenge is "Unintended Consequences."  Your main character will never see this one coming.

For example:  The MC decides to cook dinner for a love interest, perhaps at the beginning of their relationship.  Everything is going well but then she/he starts to choke.  The simple act of making food, harmless in its intent, results in death or maybe the MC turning into the hero.  Either way, the night did not go as planned.

All genres welcome.  The act could be anything.  It doesn't need to be as mundane as a romantic evening.

Word Count: 500 max (Not including title)

Deadline: June 7th, 2015 - 11:59 pm EST

Motivation...

Sinclair Lewis on writing:  "Most writers don't understand that the process begins by actually sitting down."

Good luck and happy writing!

5th entry in!  A few hours away from voting!  Thanks to all the participants.  We have five great entries so far and I'm excited for everyone to read them.  There is still time if anyone wants to get in on this hot steamy literary action!
