Hi,
This might be a long explanation, so if you'll bear with me...

I'm Steve, most people who know me call me Spam (long story). I've been writing off and on since I was a boy, however, this is the first time I've ever been prompted to put anything in the public domain.
I'm an ex military policeman, a former special constable, and I now work as a security guard in the Staffordshire Moorlands on what used to be a mobile home park and holiday camp. It's now been taken over by a charity that runs it as sort of social experiment, housing homeless families, and asylum seeker families.
Think Heartbeat meets Benefits Street.
However, it occurs to me that in these days of police cutbacks and privatisation, I'm largely doing the job of a traditional bobby on the beat.
And there's never a dull moment. In the last twelve months I've dealt with an old lad who was so incensed by 'dog does' that he put out dog food mixed with edible glitter, and a Ukrainian feller selling bootleg vodka on the park's car boot sales.
I've written these as short vignettes, but don't know how to develop them. Perhaps a blog? I don't know. I'd be dead chuffed at any suggestions anyone cares to make.
