The welcome board would have been a great place to start. There, a moderator could have told you all about Stickies and the rules of engagement here. There are only a few, but you don't want to start out ruffling feathers.

If you read a few of the other "Hi, I'm new posts" you have seen what the various mods have to say about being here.

Welcome.
Stickies are your friends.

Read a few posts and look at reviews before you put up something of your own to be reviewed, it will be better for a number of reasons.

Best wishes.

Waving hand, Mod here.

Welcome to MyWritersCircle Ginger, sorry you're feeling lost.

Maybe it would help if I first tell we on our form we break thing up into different boards - hopefully the board name give a clue to what they contain. An example "Review My Word" is a board to post a piece of prose that you wish others to read and offer you some feedback/critique. Be sure to read the guidelines for each board - they will give you an explanation of how to make best use of the board.

Here are a few guidelines (for the forum as a whole) we urge you read so you’ll know how things work around here. Just click the link below.

http://www.mywriterscircle.com/index.php?topic=7415.0

You'll also find a few Blue stick-pin (Stickies) on the menu some of the various boards (top, upper left) to help you learn the ropes.

Please be aware when you post on the poetry or prose boards you are inviting others to read and critique. If you prefer gentle critiques or feel you are ready for deeper critiques, please say so at the top of your thread.

Browse around and check out the areas you find interesting. If you have a problem finding a particular topic, try the Search button, it comes in handy.

*Reviewing other member's work before posting your own for critiques or reviews and others will likely to reciprocate with suggestions, critiques and/or reviews.

If you a problem or question, feel free to PM (personal message a moderator, we're happy to help. The moderators are easy to spot due to all the blue stars floating above our heads. We are happy to help in any way we can.

Smiles,
Alice - Deep in the Heart of Texas
