I would like to self publish a range of printed children's books. I was thinking a long the lines of Mr Men style books. But as I have never self published before can anyone recommend anyone?

I published mine through createspace. All free if you do it yourself but you can pay if they do it for you. You can design your own cover as well. Very easy to follow guidelines and the books end up a reasonable cost. For me the postage cost as much as the books. They also put the books in the on line stores for you. Plus you can use their pdf etc to publish on kindle.
Worked well for me.

Dawn,
You can also publish them as Kindle ebooks here:
https://kdp.amazon.com/
All the best.

Hi Dawn,
Once you format and upload your book file for print / POD publication on Amazon, you can upload the same file with minor tweaks as a Kinde ebook for free. Your audience will have more options. Win-win.
It's worth considering.
