In case any of you don't remember the writing software "storybook" it was an awesome little package which allowed for character development, concept maps, chronology and other interesting tools for writing. I started with that (there was a free version), before the software company was shut down, apparently for tax reasons and their software stopped working (it checked the license status online)

Well now the full version has been made available here:
I was able to re-open my old project again and recover some cool ideas I'd stored in there.

Check it out as a free alternative to scrivener, but bear in mind that unlike scrivener, storybook saves all text in a proprietary .db2 file so keep a backup of your work in some other format as well.
