Kindle Direct Publishing for Absolute Beginners
« on: February 28, 2014, 07:04:40 AM »
I know lots of you share my interest in e-publishing.
If there's anyone thinking of e-publishing through Amazon KDP for the first time then you might find my new e-book 'Kindle Direct Publishing for Absolute Beginners' useful.
It's a short guide to getting started with KDP and includes topics such as book covers, pricing, KDP Select etc. etc.
The Amazon page tells you all about it:

As I pointed out in the Coffee Shop post, I've been remiss in not keeping up
up with MWC since Christmas. Now that I am finally retired (YA!) I can post
here more often and also keep people interested in my seventh book (full
length) syfi novel -- Inverse. I'll give you more details at the Coffee Shop
later.

Someone here did suggest Amazon.com and KDP.  My first six books are
self-published there and I've done quiet well.  My first posting I made an
absolute pest of myself at work talking about it. That first royalties check
felt good; an ego boost to my self worth.

There was a nice thread on Kindle Publishing, but for some reason it has been deleted or "archived."

Hi Poggy/Mike - yes, you can use your Kindle App to read my book (or any other Kindle book) on your iPad.
If you do read it, I'd love to know what you think of it. All feedback is useful!
Best wishes.
