Flash Fiction #79

For this contest, I’d like entries between 450-500 words to show a ‘foreigner’ in trouble and on the run trying to get help. They might want travel directions, some food, shelter -- it's up to you. ;)

The ‘foreigner’ can have their internal thoughts in English but their communication is otherwise limited to . . . whatever you can come up with to help them out of a pickle. They do not know the word ‘help’. Or, they can be an English-speaking person abroad with none of the native language skills. No passport, no papers – banjaxed and frightened of the authorities.

You can place the setting wherever you like in time or location.

Please send you entry to me by PM before midnight on Monday 10th February 2014.

Have fun. ;D

That's an unusual one.

As long as they experience the communication/language problem -- they're more than welcome! ;D
