Newby question
« on: January 31, 2014, 12:07:30 PM »
Hi -

I'm just wondering about a couple of things on this website. Should I put my whole script up for review or just the first few pages? I note some people have put the first few pages in the text of their post then attached it all as a PDF file?

Also how is copyright affected? Should I copyright something before posting it? (Not that I don't trust you all!)

Sorry for the questions but this is my first go at writing a script and I would appreciate some advice and feedback.

Thanks
Eric

Most writers just post a sample. Most readers are reluctant to click on links to full documents, especially if the person posting is a newbie. Copyright isn't affected. You own the copyright of everything you write by default.
This is not an exit.

The above is a link to the Review My Poetry board. When you open the board, you'll notice two Stickies at the top of the list.

Reading the stickies will often answer some, if not most, of your questions.

You'll find the same applies to a number of our boards, so don't forget to check out the Stickies.   ;D
