Actually, I think you are wrong. I think your skills would be invaluable to a team of poets. The one thing that will make this work is strong coordination and delegation. I'm not saying it's that easy because, believe me at times I was tearing my hair out and I'm going to be totally honest here, poets have the knack of making simple hard. >:D I was ready to throw the towel in or explode.

There are lots of different jobs to do so if you all work together you could pull it off.

I agree totally with Ma on that Mark, you would be a great asset to the construction team.

Comments made have not been so much cynical, more the devils advocate, showing there are really hard bits to get through along with the joy of the finished product. Its nice to enter the battle forewarned so to speak.  :D

I didn't do the work Ma did, not that clever in the least but I, along with the other Mods, had to listen to her >:D  ;)

Okay - some hard graft needed here.

I think a panel should see potential submissions and between them discuss the merits first of all by providing a knee-jerk score based on their initial response. Then seeing how the scores work out -- say at least 6/10 average with the proviso that a revision might be required. Privately offer feedback and suggestions and let the poet resubmit to the panel and if the revision increases the average score - it's a possible inclusion.

Haven't a clue who might make up the panel -- should be diverse and unbiased, probably 4 or 5 people. :-X

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Fibber, everyone has an opinion, the 'unbiased' was for regard to the poet not the poem. :D No cliques or favourites. :D

FF: Once they are submitted to Amie and Ma--yep. For tweaking and PM purposes with the 'panel' the identity can't be concealed.
