MWC poetry anthology: Final stages -

Aw come on Ma, I know how much you love poetry, I can tell your secretly itching to get your hands on 103 plus pages of juicy poems.

I'm not trying to put you off guys, I just want you to know some of the problems that crop up.

Working with a group of poets, all with different opinions about everything, what could possibly crop up?

There are problems of course, but nothing that cannot be resolved I reckon. There are enough people on here writing poetry after all.

However . . . 130 pages . . . Even if folks did 3 pieces each that were brilliant, say on average 2 poems to a page, that's 260 poems which means we'd need approx. 75 people to submit! If they were allowed 6 poems, that's still 30 odd poets required.

I don't think you can do two a page 510, unless I misunderstood Ma mate.

You probably can if you use the prose size book, but the problem there is it's a spined book and boy you'd have to go sum on submissions.

There is always a way if you are determined enough, but I'm the bad points guy cos I have worked on everyone.

What if it's just an ebook? Do we have to have a printed version? Then it could be any size.

It is much cheaper to do the ebook, BUT you still have to format it for probably kindle I assume.

Okay Heidi, I think you are the first volunteer.  

Yeah you can do pdf, but you need to put it on some selling platform, surely. This is one of the issues you need to sort out with each other.

I am probably the minority these days but I don't buy ebooks, I have to hold the book in my hot little hand.
