Sticky: Using this board
« on: December 15, 2005, 04:45:32 AM »
Use this board to view and/or post details of any interesting jobs/opportunities/contests for writers.

When posting, please include some description of the opportunity as well, rather than just a link to an info page. There is usually no objection to copying and pasting key details from the page in question, along with a link for readers who want to find out more.

In addition, the board can be used to post requests for collaborators or writing partners. You can also post requests for interviewees, 'experts', and so on.

Please note that it is not possible for items posted on this board to be 'vetted', and their appearance here does NOT mean they have been checked or endorsed by MWC in any way. You should always do your own 'due diligence' before applying for any opportunity.

If you have a bad experience with a company listed here or evidence that they may not be genuine, feel free to report it to the moderators, who will investigate. You are also welcome to post your comments as a reply, but please stick to the facts rather than making unverifiable accusations, bearing in mind that MWC is subject to the libel laws. Please do not comment about low rates of pay. We know that some online publishers in particular pay little or nothing, but this does not automatically mean they are acting in bad faith. These opportunities may still be of interest to some members.

And finally, do read all the messages in any thread before applying for the job or opportunity in question. You may discover that the vacancy is closed, or there may be additional info posted by other members it would be useful to know about.
