FF - When she's watching Dora the Explorer, ask her if she thinks Diego is cute. "Hola"  ;D

Could you not create a secure email address for her that we can send pics and poems and funnies to? Or even say 'hi?'  I'd love to send her pics of Barney and Maisie, (all kids love happy dogs I think?) B
Fare thee well Skip. We're all 'Keening' now. xbx

Bri I will ask them but being in hospital all the time, I don't know about internet. I know she has an ipad but not its capabilities mate. Nice thought though and I will find out.  :-*

Skip, she would not think he is cute, hes a boy.  :o :o :D :D

Patti, I think she has had a few of those miracles since being hospitalized. She really should not have survived according to them.

2par, thanks. She is brave, they reckon out of all the kids she is the toughest.  :)

Oh, my kids loved Peppa :D It looks like there is someone close by her who crochets... so hopefully that unicorn pattern I posted on FB finds its way to someone who can make it for her.

Another Addy update

She has been home since about Tuesday now I think, which is a record. Her appetite has returned and at all hours of the night she wants pizza, pies and sausages and she doesn't care in what order.  :P :P

She is still weak and can't walk but she stays on the lounge so the house buzzes around her.

Rachael, Addy's mum said the tumor has not responded as they had hoped so has not shrunk much. She has a CT scan on Monday to determine the dimensions of the monster to see if they will operate, which will be sometime next month if they do.  ???

A few members have sent Addy postcards to my house and I gave them to her dad today

Wanderer

Intercat

Alice, A Country Girl

Well she was tickled pink with them and her mum posted a photo on facebook, but I sneakily turned it around cause it was upside down  :D

The post was titled "Postcards and well wishes from the other side of the world."

Yes its absolutely amazing the support we are recieving from people... my Addy is certainly very special and not just to me.... mum

Thanks for brightening a little girls life and uplifting her family as well, you guys are the greatest.  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Odin hasn't shown any signs of being disgruntled when I keep knocking on his door and asking him to help the little warrior maid.
My website is currently having a holiday, but will return like the $6,000,000 man.  Bigger, stronger, etc.

In the meantime, why not take pity on a starving author and visit my book sales page at http://stores.lulu.com/gyppo1

I thank you for your persistence there Gyp.  :-*

She is a very ill little girl and the news they received about her tumor not shrinking is the worst they could have got.  ???

Keep the faith - as cheesy as that sounds - Addy is a fighter - just waiting for the wool to come it and will post with the boys cards
Time to take it serious and get the job done

Cranky's good if she's at home. Beats hospital. Once she's better it'll go away. ;)

True 510. She is the fiesty one of all the kids they tell me. She always looks innocent when I see her.

Knocked on this thread to see how Addy is doing. Good to know she is back home now and doing well. Hope she has gained enough strength to walk around now. Those pizza and pies should have helped, I suppose.  :)
