Filmscript Sluglines: Travelling
« on: February 07, 2006, 11:50:00 AM »
I'm sure a lot of you have taken Nick's advice and downloaded the Scriptsmart templates for writing filmscripts, plays, telescripts, etc. (see writersroom).

I have been checking out the US Filmscript template and I notice that it includes among the scene-heading sluglines (Interior, Exterior, Day, Night, etc) the word "Travelling".

I presume this is used for a scene that involves characters moving from one location to another? How exactly is it used? Where is it placed in the scene heading?

Also, why is it spelled with two "l"s? Isn't that a British spelling? I thought Americans spelled the word "traveling". A typo? Or perhaps the programmers just dropped the ball.
