so everything went well, the food, even if I say so myself, was excellent as was wine, beer and we all got on fine. What happened at school was that the father of an iranian girl stormed into school and threatened a boy that is in the missus' class...........said if he didn't leave his daughter alone the boy  wouldn't see Christmas nevermind his 15th birthday..........shouting etc and apparently posted death threats on FB............all this because the "unbeliever of a boy" had had the audacity to go to the cinema with his daughter. All this had to be taken seriously by the police who as the missus said were incredibly slow..........anyway now it is the Christmas hols and we can get on with some relaxing.........I hope, I am going down to the in-laws afer all. ;D

Glad too the dinner went off hitchless.  :D

Just about to curry the remains of our turkey. It is the first time we had turkey in years, butter pushed between the flesh and skin with herbs and garlic was a great success.

The tree is down as are the few decorations, so they don't turn into hobgoblins and bring us bad luck all year.

Bizarre superstition ;-)
My website is currently having a holiday, but will return like the $6,000,000 man.  Bigger, stronger, etc.

My tree is usually down on Boxing Day, it still sits but I took the fairy off the top.  :o

We take all the decorations down just after Christmas, It was my sons birthday on the 31 December so we never had Xmas cards and his birthday cards together. As for the tree we dig it out of the garden and put it back after we have finished with it. Around June we usually find a silver bell hanging from it
