Me? I am a grumpy old git. but I am HAPPY being a grumpy old git. Keeping away from the "self-help books" keeps me happy. ;D ;D
Just a well-read punk peasant

I am occasionally genuinely Happy (at peace in the present), more often grateful for everything and the opportunity to feel and express gratitude. I am grateful for the discernment to realize my place in the Universe and to try to make it a good place to be.
otherwise, it's another glorious early summer day in Northeast Georgia and the Pileated Woodpeckers have been coming near the house lately since I have been neglecting the edge space and let the underbrush creep up to the fence-it's going to be a big year for snakes and turtles as well.

Had Sunday breakfast out with grandchildren. Took the mothers along to help with control. Was a good morning :)
