Burning Fly?

still have the stache ... it will return tomorrow. Wouldn't want to sadden Ellie.  ;)
But I liked this image I took of an egret (heron) in the tree, silhouetted with the moon.

I wonder who she stole the old lady eyes from?

EDIT: If my eyes don't deceive, it's a heron in that tree.

Sharp-eyed young fellow.

Egret. Same family. It's sort of why I used it ... pun with name, and all.  ::)

Darn!  He missed photography, watercolors and driving my vintage Corvette!  ;)

If I knew how to post it, I'd include a picture of it!  8)

A man who needs an answer.

Which is forthcoming below...

If you have a pic of the corvette, or anything else you wish to share, provided said picture is no bigger than 250k you can post it by using the 'additional options' which appears at the bottom left of the posting window when you reply.

Click this button and it allows you choose the pic.  I suggest having a copy of the picture in a nice handy location like your desktop.  When you click on [choose] a window will open.  Choose the appropriate picture, click twice and the location/name/etc appears in the 'Attach' window.  Then click post.   Unless you have a screaming demon speed machine it will take noticeably longer than a text only post.  Not really slow, but maybe enough to make you wonder if it's working, especially if your picture is close to the 250k limit.

If it fails, check the picture size.  It won't always tell you why it failed.

If I've obeyed my own instructions correctly a picture of a memorial anchor will accompany this post.  It will initially be small, but will enlarge with a double left click.

My website is currently having a holiday, but will return like the $6,000,000 man.  Bigger, stronger, etc.

In the meantime, why not take pity on a starving author and visit my book sales page at http://stores.lulu.com/gyppo1

Semi-feral grannies on pirate ships...?

And also technologically 'savvy'! (speaking of pirates...;))
The correct usage of an ellipsis...is for the removal of greenfly from a rosebush.
