Flash Fiction #46
« on: April 29, 2012, 08:11:16 AM »
Flash Fiction #46 -- you need to include the words ‘dripped/salvage/sense’ [or any other way of using them ing/ed/s alternative endings permitted] in your story—any genre. So – romance writers, sci-fi folk, mystery, thriller and crime writers, historical fiction, children’s stories, YA, fantasy, horror, paranormal – you’re all welcome to enter.

Max 1,000 words, entry by PM to me please.

You have 10 days to get your story to me, so get writing and have fun putting those three words into your piece. Entries close midday  [BST] May 9th .

Good luck! ;) ;) ;)

A writer doesn't have to, like, use the three words in sequence, right?

No not at all just the three words make their appearance: drip/drips/dripping/dripped/dripper/drippiness :o  salvage/salvages/salvaging/salvaged  sense/senses/sensing/sensed -- as nouns/verbs/adjectives -- whatever way you want to use them. ;) ;) ;)

:D :D :D

Exactly -- not such a hard challenge after all, eh? ;D ;D ;D LOL

No -- the 3 words must appear within the 1,000 total [of hopefully different and interestingly phrased words] that make up your story. :D

Go for traditional beginning/middle/end ;D ;D ;D Action, conflict, resolution, characterisation, dialogue -- hey you could do loads of cool things in a story. :D
