Thumbs on the post?
« on: January 31, 2006, 11:48:08 PM »
How come some folks have thumbs out beside their post. Some pointing up and others pointing down. Just wondering 8)

They are message icons, also known as post icons - an optional feature that can be used to show the mood or intention of the message.

If you want to use a message icon, you can select one from the Message Icon drop-down menu, which is just below the Subject field when you are composing (or editing) a message. As well as thumbs up or down, you can have around a dozen other icons, including exclamation and question marks, smileys, and so on. I've chosen 'Lamp' for this message, just to see what it looks like!

Hope this helps  :)

Here's a 'cheesy' one because, well, I just have to, don't I??   ::)

EDIT: Mmmm - not THAT exciting ... but now I know how they work as well!!   :-\
