Well, that’s killed the mood Gyppo.

And it was all going so well too.

Sorry.  See it as a challenge to rise above.  A man of your talents and all that.  I notice you had no Trevor in your tale.

I know a couple of Trevors, both perfectly nice fellas.

Never kicked a dog to death anyway.

Though one of 'em once swore at a cat.

now that was a funny piece, most amusing, and of course we all atribute charators to names. But then we had teachers that suited their names, or not.

Mr Butcher....he was an effeninate fench teacher. didn't last long, was hackled to much by a boy called Karl (kind like Kyle don't you think)

Then there was

Miss Iles ....she as wall known for launching the board rubber at you.

We even had a Mr A Bell...maths teacher...of course he would be teaching IT now. (as in Alexander Graham)

Anyway, just wanted to say, great read

Thanks

Dibs

Talking of teachers names, we had a Mr long who was shorter than most of his studants, and a Mr short who was so tall he had to bend to get through the small doorways.
Sorry just reminded me of them i used to giggle at the fact. ;D ;D

LOL!
One of my teachers at primary school was called Ms Blood. Then she got married and was...Mrs Hart! True story!  :)

Clever and well written. I liked it! I always cringe at the name Crystal. Doomed from the start. Why would you do that?

This was absolutely bloody marvellous. I teach in a lovely tiny Special Needs school now, but I did a fair few years in mainstream where almost all of these names have made very similar appearances! Very good pace to your writing; every word is necessary and sort of draws me along and into the next sentence. Reading it felt like I was pulling up a very long rope, desperate to hoik it in as fast as I could and disappointed when I finally got to the end!

This is so funny! And so true! Thinking back to the names from when I was growing up and it all fits now.
By the way, my chopper was yellow....
