Today I had a very long drive back from Stansted airport (traffic stopped for nearly two hours on the M4 due an accident).  I was all set to vote for "Count Grassi's Passage over Piedmont" as today's favourite (I love everything about that song, every last little thing), but I was swayed by a late entry Jacques Brel's version of "Les coeurs tendres"
"You do not need to leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. Do not even listen, simply wait, be quiet still and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked, it has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet." - Kafka

Stansted?  Saturnine, you could have popped in for coffee and waited till that traffic jam eased (I'm about 25 mins from there).

M4 - when I was little we used to drive to Devon.  No M4 in those days (I am very, very old - well, at least I feel it today) and my parents had to put up with two fighting children in their car for the whole journey.

Back to songs!  Just been listening to a Flemish band called Kadril.  Can't pronounce their song names, but they were good, anyway.

Was listening to Crosses, by Zero 7 this morning on the way to work, a gentle way to start the day.
"Hell? There is no heaven, there is no hell, there is only this place, the land of the dead, my friend..."

Can't seem to get the theme song from my children's online game  "Disneys ToonTown" out of my head.
