"Yom Huledet" it is today!
And for a reason... we've been playing the cd with birthdaysongs all day already, as it's my daughter's 8th birthday  :)

"You save me" by Kenny Chesney, I love this song and now cannot get it out of my head.

"When I'm a ship tossed around on the waves
Up on a highwire that's ready to break
When I've had just about all I can take
Baby you, baby you save me
When I'm a bullet shot out of a gun
When I'm a firecracker coming undone
When I'm a fugitive ready to run, all wild-eyed and crazy
No matter where my reckless soul takes me
Baby you save me"

I tap my fingers on the table to the rhythm in my soul
-Keith Urban

Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend,
Inside of a dog, it is too dark to read.

Hi

Mine would have to be T.Rex and "Hot Love" containing the immortal line

"Well she's faster than most and she lives on the coast, aha."

Make of that what you will.

All the best

David

Heard 'Easy' by Bare Naked Ladies this morning.  Any song that can successfully include the word

'obfuscate' wins my vote for the day!

Wires by Athlete followed immediately by LDN by Lily Allen - so that's 2 but I'm borrowing the spare day from yesterday so it's OK.  ;D

Institutionalized by Suicidal Tendencies:
I was in my room and I was just like staring at the wall thinking about everything
But then again I was thinking about nothing
And then my mom came in and I didn't even know she was there she called my name
And I didn't even hear it, and then she started screaming: MIKE! MIKE!
And I go:
What, what's the matter
And she goes:
What's the matter with you?
I go:
There's nothing-wrong mom.
And she goes:
Don't tell me that, you're on drugs!
And I go:
No mom I'm not on drugs I'm okay, I was just thinking you know, why don't you get me a pepsi.
And she goes:
NO you're on drugs!
I go:
Mom I'm okay, I'm just thinking.
She goes:
No you're not thinking, you're on drugs! Normal people don't act that way!
I go:
Mom just give me a Pepsi please
All I want is a Pepsi, and she wouldn't give it to me
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi, and she wouldn't give it to me.
Just a Pepsi.

Juliet Turner is a fine lyricist and song writer!

Don't know the Venetian Snares - have to look them out!

Keep Wearing Purple - Gogol Bordello - that one sticks in the head as soon as I hear it.

Carrie.

Yes she is Carrie!  in fact have a couple more !!!'s on.  ;D

I still can't do her wobbly voice singing though, it sounds stupid if I sing along. However, I shall now try - so there! Hope you're happy with yourself Ms Sheppard!!!!!!!!

I can, however, sing Jack White stuff - stripes or racontuers - so I shall do that too!
