Today it's a toss up between "La jour ou la pluie viendra" and "Gitans" by Dalida.

Bien sur. Mais tu as dit que t’es hetero? Tous le monde sait que c'est seulement les femmes et les hommes gays qui aiment Dalida.
(or should that be "tu soie" or something like that? my grammar is not ideal)

My favourite song today was 'Five and dime' sung by Nanci Griffith. No French, sorry!

"Son of a Preacher Man" by Dusty Springfield, though occasionally it's taken over by the Tundra Rap from The Mighty Boosh.
Yesterday was "Creepin Up The Backstairs" by The Fratellis, my new favourite band (can strongly recommend the album...)

The song stuck in my head today, "It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll" ACDC.
That would be my 4 year olds favorite song. He was singing it on the way to school this morning. His pre-school teacher commented how he doesn't like to sing. I simply told her that he doesn't know any pre-school songs. He likes ACDC, Nickleback, limited Metalica songs. He doesn't know, "The Wheels on the Bus".
Oh, well.

Hi go.dot, love Dalida. I have her 4 CD's of all the sixties hits in french but prefer her Arabic songs. Now the song Salima Ye Salima (spelling!!!) is going through my head. Oliver
