excited!
« on: January 31, 2006, 08:49:43 AM »
Wow

I am sooooooooo excited.

I have just ordered a copy of Nick's course. It will be the first proper course in writing I've ever done. I can't wait.

I do hope delivery won't take too long!

What a day of firsts. Checked my account on line, (1st) purchased on line (1st) and of course my first proper writing course.

Sorry just wanted to share.

Hi Mini,

I recieved my Nick Daws course just two weeks ago and I'm halfway through. I think I'll be at this point for a while. As a wise (Symphony) sage said to me recently. 28 days is not an unbreakable rule. So I think that I'll be at this point through the summer. If you like it as much as I do you will be excited and motivated very well. Good Luck and have fun.  :) mary

Aahh Thanks you lot.

Yesterday afternoon I went to my first propoer little seminar/workshop for writing.

I discovered the difference between tell and showing.

Gosh, it makes loads of difference. I in three short hours I learned so much.

I hope there will be another one soon. In the meantime I want to save so that I can attend a proper writers' conference, such as the one in Winchester. There seems to be loads of workshops in last years pamphlet.

I feel like a five year old waiting for Christmas, I do hope Mr. Postie won't take too long.

Mini,

That's great. Would love to hear more about your workshop. You're obviously extremely motivated so I have every confidence you're going to take off at some point very soon and there'll be no stopping you! (probably as soon as Nick's course arrives!!)

Let us know when you get started. I think you're going to have lots and lots of fun,

Your enthusiam is infectious.

I now feel motivated to do all the writing jobs I keep putting on a back burner otherwise you'll over-take me.

Way-to-go.

Thanks for cheering up my writing day. ;D
