Further details from the website are copied below. Could I again take this opportunity to remind all members that while we are always grateful to have market information added to Writers Wanted, as per the board guidelines we do ask that some information about the opportunity in question is included. Many members are rightly wary of clicking on links when no other info is provided.

Many thanks - Nick  :)

These are the official guidelines for our next anthology project, titled “While You Were Out: Stories of Life and Death and Life.”

Submission Guidelines:

Genre: Any narrative form (story)
Minimum word count: 1,000 words
Maximum word count: 10,000 words
Submissions open: January 1, 2012
Submission close: February 10, 2012

Stories must not exceed reasonable content for a PG-13 rating (language, violence and sexual themes with purpose are fine, excessive violence and graphic sexuality should be avoided).  More info here.

Theme: The theme “Life and Death and Life” can be applied very liberally.  For more information about the theme, click here.

Fiction and non-fiction are both fine, however, we are expecting narratives (stories).

Here’s how to submit your work:

1.  Create a free CCC account (register here)
2.  Confirm your account by email
3.  Log into your account at ColumbusCoop.org
4.  Click on “Submit Work for Anthology”
5.  Fill out the simple form and upload your work.

Done!

Compensation: Selected writers will share a portion of the profits.  Submitting your work does not obligate you to publish with us.  If your work is selected, you’ll receive an offer, which you may choose to accept or decline at that time.

Submission Cost: Your first submission is free!  If you’d like to submit more than one entry, additional entries cost $9.  ”Writer” level co-op members and above may submit up to three entries at no charge.

Publication: This book will be printed and distributed to local retailers, as well as published to Kindle Edition, Barnes & Noble Nook, and iBook, among others.  Release date TBD, but projected to be May 3, 2012.

Not so, actually. It says the first submission is free. I've added a couple of paragraphs to the quote that I missed out before.

No, indeed, but I don't normally handle this type of job. I prefer to leave it to one of our enforcers  ;)

They don't let Nick punish the naughty posters, not after what he did to Matsamu.

Seriously, he used to look like Cary Grant.
