 :D :D

I have four or five bottles of water on the hop all the time. I know there is water in the tap but personally, it tastes like crud.

So to keep mine cold I rotate so they are cold till the last drop.

There is always at least a dozen unopened bottles in there. If I don't drink bottle water, I don't drink water at all.

Trev, have you any photos of some of the stones you have polished?

I kind of like the idea a of a chilly water bottle Brrrrrrrr cold feet

Dibs

Being something of a human radiator I sometimes do this when it gets too hot in the Summer.  A 2 litre plastic lemonade bottle, filled with water and chilled down but not frozen, stays cool for most of the night and tucked up against my back can be rather pleasant.  If the bottle feels too cold at the start of the night wrap it in a towel or something.  The feeling of cold still escapes into the bed without the freezing contact.

My youngest daughter bought herself one of these and swears by it.  Really missed it when she left it behind at her student 'digs' after graduation.

They do look like a good idea Gyp.

I have a ceiling fan for the summer which does a good job, but an a/c is just too much

I see the chillow people do a pad for dogs as well.  I wonder if they would make a king-sized one for a Polar Bear?

Hi, Mr. Bones. I'm sorry I don't know what the topic Du juoir is, but could you pour me a scalding hot chocolate anyway (with a touch of Kahlua, if you don't mind, just pour it where others can't see it.) I'm already feeling quite frozen and scorched. But that's not for you to worry. Oh, heck, just go ahead and set me down a shot of Canadian Club too, I'll pay double today...I'm pretty sure of that....

Bones have you got the kettle on? I could do with a strong cup of tea if you please.

FF I have about 20- 30 stones I started polishing mate, trouble is they are all flat at moment, I have to learn the skill of forming them into cabochon.

I suppose there is around 400 uncut stones in one of the boxes, only semi precious you understand, different types of Agate, Christal, Beryl, Amethyst.

When I achieve the art of shaping the stones I shall send one to you FF. Don't hold your breath though mate.

Thanks Trev, I have faith in you.

It would be an amazing art to master I have to say. I don't know how much of that my uncle did or if his satisifaction was finding the stone.

I shall ask his son next time I see him I think.

Well coolest, Trev. I love carving myself. I do mostly wood, but love what life comes out of solid stone.

Hey, lil glo. I hope your weekend was calm.

While I was away my two dogs killed a snake in our backyard.

It turned out to be harmless thank gawd, one of them could have been bitten.

Its in the freezer to go in the bin tonight.  ;D ;D
