Anyway, I'm not sure if this fits into the category but my grandparents would often tell us that when they ran out of toothpaste while in the shelters during the war, they wouldn't often use baking soda. They laugh about it now when the dental companies advertise is as though it were something new when they've known about it for more than half a century! LOL!!!

Never made any sense to me but he swore by it.
Okay, my tip:
If, like me, you drink only black coffee then your cups (Or in my case MUGS.

) must have dirty brown stains on them? The best way to remove this (if you don't have a dishwasher. *Sniff*) is to put a little salt in them when washing. Works like a charm.
