Fire-fly's Next Adventure
« on: June 25, 2011, 06:41:57 PM »
Hello fellow MWCians, and welcome to my next amazing adventure.  :D :D

The other half and I have decided to take another month this year and see a bit more of our brown land, and to escape the global warming down south here, cause I am freezing my tokus off.  ::)

We are heading to a place in Outback Queensland called Lawn Hill and there is a park in there at Adels Grove we want to check out.

http://www.adelsgrove.com.au/

We now have a nice new shiny van with all the bells and whistles, shower, loo and heaps of room inside.

So we shall keep you posted as we land in all the different spots we want to see. Leichardt Falls is on the agenda if the rain has left any roads to follow that is. We went there in '08 but didn't have time to stop and enjoy for too long. We always seem to have a deadline but this time we are just meandering at a nice slow pace.  ;)

Some photos from the last trip.  :)

Even the birds are flocking North for the winter dudes.  8)

Some are slower than others though.  :D

This Tuesday is take off day so only two more sleeps but heaps of exciting places to see.

Luxury 'Walkabout' ;-)

Have a good time.  And no singing to crocodiles this time.  You know it makes them cry, which probably explains all the flooding ;-)

Are you going to be nicking bandwidth from unguarded connections again?  Bloody bushrangers ;-)

 ;D ;D

You bet your sweet bippy I am Gyp, wherever we can get it.

Although now we have our mobiles as modems so that does ease the problem with connections.

Gyp do you know that some scabby households out there actually have their internet protected against decent citizens such as myself, borrowing a little bit here and there?  :o

Some people are so unhelpful.  Most of them probably don't get anywhere near their bandwidth allowance for each month.  Which reminds me I must make a few decent downloads before the end of the month.  Maybe watch a film or two ;-)

Safe trip, FF.
