Welcome to Me
« on: April 26, 2011, 11:40:33 PM »

I'm a new member with an interest in fiction, primarily fantasy and action/adventure. I have occasionally penned haiku - not something I admit to most people. :)

I hope the townspeople with torches and pitchforks don't come after me - I posted in two of the game threads before coming here. I highly recommend the non-association thread. It's much harder than one would think.

Me? I'm a married, perfect-aged female. I share my life and space with a spouse and numerous pets (both furry and scaly). I used to journal extensively, but found life was eating into my creative time. Now, I'm trying to reclaim that time.

p.s. You can call me "Kitty" - derived from husband's nick for me.

Welcome to the Circle, Kitty. We have much to offer. We’ve divided the subjects of interest into categories. (There are subheadings under each one.) However, before you go any further, please drop by this link below and give it a read.

It will familiarize you with how we do things; our forum-educate, and limits.  Reading this page first will help. None of us wants to meltdown the servers or any of our other members.

Visit our Coffee Shop. Make some friends in the, ‘MWC Bar’ for instance. Ask some questions and jump right in. We do however ask that you help a few others before you post any of your own work. Look for a blue pushpin at the top of each page-list you open. Read that post.

Whether you are a reader, writer, or a poet, we have it all.  As implied in the name, ‘My Writer’s Circle’, we all learn from, and teach one another. Again, welcome aboard.

Welcome Kitty. Anyone that has pets both scaly and those with fur is already two steps ahead in my book.

I look forward to seeing you around here often.

Kitty, I think we can hold off with the pitchforks and flaming torches for now.

Welcome to our relatively safe and very informative corner of the Big Bad Web, where a surprising amount of good work gets done despite all the playing around in the less serious places such as the MWC Bar and the game boards.

My website is currently having a holiday, but will return like the $6,000,000 man.  Bigger, stronger, etc.

In the meantime, why not take pity on a starving author and visit my book sales page at

Welcome to the forum, Kitty Blue!

Edit - I've just come back from taking my puppy for her walk where she met her first cat - Mitzi (the pup) wanted to be friendly but the cat didn't!

Take a trip to the MWC bar and offer to buy the drinks - everyone will put their weapons away then!  :)

There is no beginning or end. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift, that's why they call it the present (unknown)

Money cannot buy happiness but somehow, it's more comfortable to cry in a Mercedes Benz than it is on a bicycle.
