Going to post last call soon, which will give authors two weeks to get their entries in.

This sounds fascinating. I did notice you`d called for short stories, but still thought I`d ask: if submissions are not yet closed, would you consider poetry for your anthology? Sometimes (IMO) it can be a restful and interesting `break` for readers as they move through the book. The topic truly inspires! I may try my hand at s short story anyhow (if it`s not too late).

Thank you,
Sharon

I have a story I'd like to write for this, is it still open? How much more do you need?

Ben, in the first page of this thread on pg. 1, you'll find a link to that web site where you can check what they are accepting currently. If memory serves, (I didn't look back) they run these anthologies (and sometimes other thing) on a fairly regular basis.

Hey Sharon, sorry my reply is so late, but I just got back from vacation.  I will accept poetry as long as it tells a story.  I've had two poetry submissions to date, but both were too abstract.  By all means though, take a shot at it.  I will be posting a last call very soon, so check back on my blog to make sure you have enough time to submit.

Best of luck!

Submissions are still open, but once I post last call, authors will have two weeks to wrap up and get their entries in.

It’s here.  Authors have exactly two weeks from today to finish writing/editing and submit their entries.  This makes the final deadline September 12th.  That means we’re playing a video game with zero lives, only the lives are extensions.
