Sci Fi/Action Screenplay Idea
« on: February 26, 2011, 08:45:16 AM »

I don't want to go into too much detail about much of the specifics as it's sort of complicated to explain and i ramble a bit - and stray from the point a lot of the time - and yeah.

But tell me if - from what you get from this short explanation - the idea is interesting/intriguing etc. whatever  :D
Title: Alexis
Basic Story Idea:

In a western world ridden in female robotic clones who act as assistants, companions and fill-ins for real human women in any and every life situation/event, a murder is committed. The Senior head of the technology giant 'The Cobalt Corporation', Sir Tugun Ellison is the victim.
Sir Ellison's Daughter, the original Alexis, is locked in a cell with DNA and Video evidence against her with no solid alibi - the suspected murderer.  Determined to prove her innocence and find the real murderer who had her father killed with his own creation, she escapes her holding cell and the precinct. She cuts and dyes her hair, disguises herself as a robotic clone  and sets out, sporting each of the personalities to investigate and ultimately save herself a conviction for murder. She uncovers an inside plot involving the military to use the robots in combat against enemies of the states.

I love sci-fi and I can see this working out to be quite interesting.  It has many good aspects - robots (futuristic - taking places of humans a plus), murder, intrigue and the evil military...

Work it out and post more - I would like to read it.

Good luck

Kay   :D

thanks Kay
I have more of it worked out
like some of the places she's gunna have to go and how she's gunna solve the murder mystery
i also know she's gunna run into an outlaw who's helps she could do with
He thinks she's a (spy) robot put up against the system and he's all about disobeying the system  :P
he eventually finds out she's not a disposable robot though

I love resident evil
it's part of the inspiration for my sci fi novel - with milla jovovich
that and linda hamilton in terminator 2  ;)

I'm intrigued. ;)

Besides the other films mentioned, I'm picturing a cross between A.I. Artificial Intelligence (only the inverse) and The Fifth Element.

So woman - when are you going to start on this? Even if you don't post, it'd be nice to know how you're getting on. ;)

 :D not sure
i do want to finish the second draft of my sci fi novel before i try writing anything else
but i cant write because of my stupid messed up keyboard
so in the meantime im probably gunna start brainstorming ideas for the plot and how this one's all gunna work out
what I've posted is pretty much all I've got  :-[ besides the info about how the robotic women are created and how they function - (by these pre-programmed personalities)  ;D

Plus -I don't really know Alexis that well yet
i haven't thought much about her and how she functions as a human being  :P

Lot's of hard work ahead of me - but i love it  :D

I thought of the movie "I Robot" with Will Smith.

But any story, if told well, is newly told. so good luck with this piece :)

thanks so much Silt

yeah i can think of lots of movies that are really similar to my ideas
There's never anything 'new' when it comes to movies IMO
They're all the same thing just told differently

Movies are so predictable to me -i can sit there and predict what's most likely going to happen next and 70% of the time im spot on

its sad really  :'(
