Just Talking. Part One
« on: July 15, 2006, 12:14:20 PM »
I know life is short.
But the days are long.
Trying to stay focused.
Trying not to do wrong.
Meditating lately.
Fleeing from those who seem shady.
Conquering demons, perceiving the seasons, finding the meaning,
I'm pleading.
Situations are only a mess with stress.  It's just best to let it rest and
dilute along with the attitude.
Inhale if I have to.
Dismissing these issues.
They only made me boo-hoo and I'm all out of tissues.
Dismissing those who choose not to see.
Z can't make you see.
Walked down Damasus road to be shined by the light.  Blind,
now I can see.  Grace goes before me, covers me, and leaves a trail behind me.
It's amazing.
It's a setting free of being me.
Exposing those who oppose self-expression.
Not trying to hear the many suggestions of their congestions.  I confess.
I took a break from the religious matrix.  Silly rabbit.
Tricks are for kids!
I've been handling my biz.
Planting seeds where my foot be's.
Turn black on you and speak ebonically.
Flip the script y hablar en espanol.
Ya know?
Esta todos muy buen!
I'm not trippin', just writing the spoken word.
Ya heard????

Nice idea for the "plot" of your poem.

They only made me boo-hoo and I'm all out of tissues

I am sure I have heard that line before, maybe I read this before but just didn't remember. *shrug* odd.

Ya know?  Ya heard? ? ? ?

I couldn't see going with the rest of the poem.

Thats all I have to say, who knows maybe this might even be useful!?!
