I'm not doing and lopping or chopping until this evening, if it cools down a bit.

Is that a man in the window of that building in the background, Frank? I think he's watching you movie-like. :(

They promised rain, but all I see is blue.

We had a dramatic thunderstorm yesterday afternoon that cleared out the hot muggy air. Nice sleeping and a lovely cool morning. The sun's very bright tho so I'm sure it will warm back up.

Very hot outside.  Half an hour in the garden was plenty in one go.

82 F in my room with both windows open.   If this keeps on happening I'll try dropping all the blinds in attempt to keep the heat out during the hottest part of the day.  It means I'll lose my view for a while, but the Old Polar bear is in danger of running away down his own trouser legs in one long dribble of sweat.

HOT.

I was going down town, but they must have cancelled a bus.  After fifteen minutes of sitting in the sun barbecuing my brains I went back home.  Tomorrow or Saturday will do.

Shouldn't that be "boiling" or "poaching" your brain. After all, it is suspended in fluid.

Muggy and overcast here. Very strange weather as this is a landlocked part of the country and we're usually quite dry.

Technically you're correct, but it felt as if it was being cooked on a griddle.

Temperature in my room is now down to 78 F.  No doubt it will drop a little more once I put the lights out and open the window.  I shall complain to the management if it doesn't.

Hot. Muggy. Bleh.

That's our weather. The day went from hot, then the humidity climbed and it felt like you could choke on air, and then it rained for all of ten seconds, now it's sunny again.  ??? The heck kind of stunt is mother nature pulling lately?

Wow - so hard to imagine snow when it feels like I'm going to melt each time I walk out the door these days! At least the thunderstorm this afternoon brought some much needed rain and a little respite from the heat :P

Thin overcast with bright blue patches, cool breeze, temp down to 70 F.  Breeze makes it reasonable to work outdoors.

Current temp here is 86 F - predicted to get up to 101 F. I should be outside doing what little I am able . . . but I'm not because that would involve actually getting dressed in jeans and long sleeve shirt to ward off the blood sucking mosquitoes. Should I do that and work in the bright sunlight, I would soon feel it was well over the predicted high.  :P

My lawn just turned white in ten minutes.  It's snowing here!! It's July for God's sake!  Well it's big hailstones actually and the lawn is as white as if it were winter!  Weird!
